“ Great ambience. The community/atmosphere makes me feel proud to be a Chicagoan as they represent our city well. Wish my iced Ube latte had more Ube flavor, but I pretty much say that about all Ube coffee drinks. Also wish the breakfast sandwich was available on weekends, but I'll gladly come back to give it a try. ”
“ Love the drink options here, I absolutely love the vibe, it is so different from any other coffee shop that I've ever been to. Sometimes I can't do caffeine and I love the fact that I would still be able to go here and get some really great and unique drinks. I was confused by the one-star reviews and then when I saw it was all from nasty people who wanted to bring their dogs inside of the coffee shop It really made me appreciate them. I have really bad allergies to dogs, I spent a lot of time in LA where they let dogs everywhere and I was not able to enjoy myself and cafes, it's always nice to see the fact that this is a cafe that considers The fact that it's customers might have allergies, as well as the fact that it's just unhygienic . ”
“ I was too late for breakfast and didn't have too much time to stick around, but the list of interesting/unique drinks was long and my latte was delicious so I'll have to come back again for sure! There's a florist in the back, though I'm not sure if they do pickups only or if you can pick something up last minute. There was also a DJ spinning music and lots and LOTS of people hanging out and taking selfies. Definitely the place to be. Service was also friendly and the baristas were very detail oriented and focused on getting through the rush. Yes, I'll definitely be back earlier in the morning next time. ”
“ What a cool interior! Vibes are immaculate, and I instantly wished I was dressed better when I stepped inside. Whoever put together the furniture pieces has an insane eye for design. There's limited seating in terms of being able to sit down and work, but otherwise you can just come here for a nice time. Drinks are on the pricier side, but they're worth the price! I got the banana milk latte, and you could taste the banana in it (was thinking it'd be the Korean milk that's popular). It paired really well the matcha and espresso, so would recommend the drink! ”
“ I adore Filipino flavors, so Drip Collective was right up my alley. The Turon w/ matcha was stupendous--100% worth the $9. Food-wise, I ordered the chickpea chorizo burrito from Chubby Boys. Delish! I'd order again and again. Note that this is not the place to be in a rush, and it's worth the wait! ”
“ I got the hot turon with matcha, as the barista kindly recommend! The banana milk is unfortunately only available in dairy form, but it's very good. It initially may taste like a fairly sweet matcha latte, but the banana flavor really brings out both the matcha flavor and the sweetness. This place has WiFi, but it's not a great place to work or study. The music is very upbeat, full of bass, and loud, which makes a club like atmosphere. A few people had their laptops out, and no one would bother you, but the place is clearly not designed for it. Much better place to have a nice social event. The bathroom was very clean, and I liked their flattering mirror (warm backlit light!). However, this place is very busy, and a single bathroom might not be enough. They also have books, which are available for purchase. I'm not sure how often the menu changes, but they posted one on their Instagram (@drip.collectivechi), so check it out before going if you want to see the offerings. ”
“ I love a good breakfast sandwich so that's what initially brought me in! I did like their sandwich but I wish they had a better aioli to pair with it than just the mayo! I also tried the banana milk which was yummy but I will say they are not consistent with their drinks here. My friend and I both ordered the banana milk and hers tasted way different... in a bad way.... They were quite busy the day we stopped by so we didn't ask them remake her drink for her. ”
“ I absolutely loved this coffee shop! Prices are a little steep but quality is 1000/10, some of the most unique and delicious specialty lattes I've ever had. We showed up 10 minutes before opening to a line already formed (I think this was because of the chubby boys breakfast pop up). When we entered, there was a DJ playing, a clothing thrift pop up in the back, and such cool art on the walls! I'd been wanting to try the banana milk latte ($10) and it did not disappoint. This was so flavorful and delicious with so much depth to it. I tried my friend's hojicha drink and it was also amazing, would totally order that next time too. On to the breakfast sandwich ($15) .... No notes it's delicious and worth the hype! The seating is so fun in here too, really unique atmosphere but definitely get there early before the line gets too long! ”
“ Updated review! I went back with my dog, and saw no signs of the place not being dog friendly. They let me order, said they do not allow dogs and I should wait outside for my order, and they will bring me my order. I wish they told me this before I ordered because I got food, but whatever! 20 minutes go by no one's came out. Another 10 go by I look in the window, they apologize they had forgotten about me. They either need to put a sign on door saying no dogs, or tell me before I order. a 30 minute wait outside in the rain was rough, i would have just gone somewhere else! coffee was amazing though. i got the banana milk iced. it had espresso and matcha. the breakfast sandwich was amazing. i would get again and again! ”
